They dry locally grown mikan slowly at low temperatures in order to intensify the sweetness and retain color. Additionally, they use quality herbs, including those grown in-house. Then they pack the blended tea by hand, which allows the use of larger pieces, thereby maximizing the character of each ingredient. Lemon myrtle contains an abundance of citral, a nutrient known to have powerful antibacterial and analgesic effects. The tea also blends lemon verbena and heath. To brew Ehime Mikan Herbal Tea, place a pyramid-shaped sachet in a cup, pour boiling water (150−180ml / 5-6 oz) over it, and wait for about five minutes. Make sure to swirl the sachet around in the cup a few times before removing it. Then you’ll have an invigorating tea with a pleasing lemony aroma. You can serve the herb tea hot or chilled. If you like to try cold brewing, add one pyramid-shaped sachet into cold water (400ml / 13 oz) and let it sit for about 12 hours in the fridge.
